| Workin' for the weekend
P47Tbolt is going flying this weekend, told me I should go. I could always fly an electric, but I'd much rather fly one of the larger nitro planes. So...Tonight I sat down with the Edge 540 I got off Roy (P47Tbolt). Installed the aileron and elevator servos, still need one for rudder and one for elevator before I finish things up. Then there's the small task of putting a 1/2 gallon or so of fuel through the SuperTigre .90 with Pitts muffler before Friday night. My neighbors are going to love me. |

| Not quite. Having that .90 two stroke powered up and running so rich it sounds like a Harley...nah, they're not used to that. Quote:

That thing is awesome... Always wanted a plane when I lived with my parents... but couldnt afford one, so I just flew my grandfathers now and then with him. Love the pilot in there, I dont know why, but I always like seeing a dude/dudet in the cockpit of a plane, or the drivers seat of a car/truck.

The other two that I'm messing with: 27% Extra 260 that'll be getting a DA50 (50cc gas engine), the FuntanaX 50 with Saito 82, and the 540 on the right. Wife thrown in for size reference. Last edited by JasonInAugusta; 03-29-2007 at 08:15 PM. |
