As hard as I tried,I could not eat crap after surgery.I was numb for at least a day.Keep your mouth clean (don't smoke) and you'll be fine.I really didn't have any pain. But then again I'm not weak.

I had some nasty a$$ teeth last summer. I got all my wisdom teeth pulled 2 root canals and a full gum scraping. getting a tattoo was more painful than all those combined. the root canal actually felt good when he ripped the bastard root out, pain was gone. dont worry about it at all.

got all 4 of mine pulled just before christmas of last year. wasn't all that bad, but i'm terrified of needles, so getting the IV was actually the worst part. after they got it in, i was out after about a minute. next thing i remember was waking up at home in my bed with a swolen mouth. the pain wasn't at all bad until the vicodin wore off, then it was horrible. i was worse for me though because the doc screwed up and cut a huge gash in my mouth on one side that took a few months to heal. i didn't eat solid food for about a week and a half, lost about 5 pounds during that time. -Dalton |

Didn't hurt at all. Had all 4 pulled about a year ago. Had to have my sinus passages stitched shut also as the roots from one tooth ruptured into them. That didn't even hurt. Took my pain meds for only two days. Don't worry about a thing.

It's different for everyone. I had all 4 of mine out in less than 15 minutes, no drugs, just a local anesthetic and I was fine. My girlfriend on the other hand... It was a 2 hr surgery where they had to knock her out. She couldn't eat solid food for 3-4 days... It all depends on how deeply burried they are. |

My upper two came out clean. My lower two were impacted and all sideways, had to take em out sideways. The lowers hurt and took months to heal proper, uppers were healed in a few weeks.

What sucks is when they break off in the gum and have to be dug out. That's the part. But it's a good excuse to go on a week-long hydrocodone bender |

Well the surgery took about an hour.........Started at 8am and I was back on the couch at 9am watching tv. It only hurts a little bit to open my mouth, other than that, no problems at all. They did decide to knock me out though cause I think thet said two of them were under the skin. It was probably hilarious watching me walk the 20 feet to the car since I was still on anesthetics.

Pulled all 4, one time. Then went home, ate a burger & smoked a cig. No pain really. Then just for kix, rolled a doob, lit it up, popped 2 viccodin's, felt real good after that.

Whatever you do don't get cocky because it doesn't hurt and go eating stuff you shouldn't stick with the soft stuff and don't smoke or drink through a straw for a day or two and you shuld be fine Glad to hear it went good for ya. |
