Default what scale is a GI Joe?

ive got a couple of 9.75" WB bodies that id like to find a "driver" for.
the 9.75" WB equates closely to about 1:12 scale

does anyone have a GI joe they could measure so i can figure out what scale it is?

also does anyone know there GI joes? id like to find one with camo or olive green clothes and a "army" style helmet. and a .50 cal would be great too for an upcoming project...

marvel legends are 1/10 scale. as well as all the six inch figures. look at entertainmentearth.com, they have tons of toys.

looks like this guy has articulation. but i would bet on not much

Would 3 3/4" work? If so I would get a sw action fig they're about $6 an can be painted. Or else I have no other suggestion than to make one.
