Default Cutting Metal

How can i cut about 2/5" steel but do not have a tortch to cut it what is another way to cut it.

If you're this bad in math?
I'd stay away from cutting wheels, and torches, and anything dangerous.
You could sustain brain damage.

He is from Kentucky... not much to damage, just a cool scar.

What they are trying to say is metal thicknesses are not measured in "fifths" like your Jim Beam Whiskey. Metal is measured in 16ths, 8ths, 4ths, halves, etc etc.

Just guessing here but it looks like what you have is around 3/8ths of an inch thick. Air powered cut off disc, heavy duty band saw, chop saw will all do the trick.

you can measure in what ever divisional matter you want.... I have been known to use the kentucky fingernail method every here and there......I would recommend a bandsaw or if straight cuts a fiber disk in a chop saw.
