| Another scammer trying to get your paypal info
Any legit paypal request will show your name and email address you used to sign up with, anything else is a scam Last edited by rockwerks; 07-02-2007 at 07:45 AM. |

Paypal will never ask you for your info and will always send the info to your original signup email account and will use the actual name you used to sign up with. So instead of Dear PayPal user, It will start with Dear Brian Harmon, or (insert your name) any email that does not name you personally is a fraud | |

Make sure you forward that email to spoof@paypal.com So they can have a look at it and probably stop them. A few months ago. Some how, someone got into my paypal account and attempted to get $4000 from my checking. I don't know how they did it because I am well aware of the fake emails and I use a complicated passwords. Fortunately I never have the need to keep more than $1000 in my checking so I they didn't get anything. |

i got one awhile back when you click the link in the email, the page it brings you to, the links actually link to real paypal pages seeming pretty bonafide. if any one wants my paypal info pm me, i'd rather one of you guys get it and buy rc stuff than some spammer buying god knows what. |
