| Best Bag or Tote
I was curious what kind of bag or tote people use for their trucks and stuff. I have a modified Wheely King and need something that can carry it, the transmitter, ice charger, batts, some boxes with parts, tools, etc. Basically big enough for all of the neccesities AND the truck. I've seen the duratrax, wingtotes, trinity, and the HPI carrying bags but do not know how durable they are. So what bag are you using and how durable, spacious is it? Either manufactured by a company or yourself. I've seen some tackleboxes, or duffle bags, but do not like those as I cannot fit the actual truck in it along with everything else. Thanks people. |

I like plastic tote boxes with lids (fold out or flaped lids are the best) The right size tote box will hold a truck, radio, charger, spare tires and some tools. Plus they range from $5-$8! Like this... John |

I've been thinking about getting one of those big roll-around toolboxes, myself. They are about the size of a big Rubbermaid tote like KRAWLR4life posted, and have a pull-out handle on one side and a set of wheels on the other.

I use a bucket. Cheap, and effective.

Thanks for the ideas. Never thought of those options. I like the inexpensive boxes but I can't carry that over my shoulder as easy. Would be good for on the go in the back of my Jeep though. I've been doing the stuff the backpack, carry the truck thing so far. I've got some research to do now. Keep the ideas coming. Couldn't find much information on these here as I searched first, or tried at least. Thanks again. |

I just got myself this http://pelican.com/cases_detail.php?Case=1610 It's waterproof, dustproof, padded and awesome and especially rugged. It's going to keep my stuff protected next time I deploy to dirkadirkastan. Luggage gets handled pretty rough.

My rig rides in the front seat with me!(The wife rides in the back) Then I carry it around by the axles and put all the other stuff in a backpack.

| Everything in one trip.
I travel the same way KRAWLER4life does, I like smaller boxes in bigger ones. A big box with handles is perfect, waterproof cover of sort with lots little boxes inside including my rig and radio. Everything in one trip is very effective.............. That's me. |
