Read a build thread or two, and check out the sticky's at the top of the page regarding some basic mods. It's a fun truck out of the box, but the w.k. can be a real blast with a bit of work. Good luck and welcome!

Thanks for the warm welcome... I am hoping to get the basics down and upgrade and get it going faster or what not. Still not sure about the speed controller thing. But i'll catch on. |

You picked a good starter truck! You can do a lot with the WK drivetrain, and it's really strong with 2.2s (in my experience)

No not really I mean just more power I guess. Just hop it up trick it out... Custom etc. Its fast enough for me but I would like to know how fast it does go. I guess really I would like more power down the road as I am excited as you guys can probably tell. |

| wk!
i to have just got a wk! welcome to the club. I didn't even run mine before i ripped it apart, Because over here in the uk we can only get the 2wd versoin still. So a 4wd conversion was fitted and the hpi conversion stage 1 also. Very happy with it and still run stock electrics. I'll post up some pics later. Stuart. |
