It's a way to pay for online purchases without using a credit card. It's also a way for people to pay you. I don't know if you can have a PayPal account being only 13, but I'm sure your parents can. To be able to pay for online purchases you need to have money in your account or a link to your bank account or credit card. PayPal acts as a buffer more or less between your money accounts and sellers. Also, it's much more convenient than having to run to a store or the post office for a money order to pay for ebay auction winnings. That's the main reason I usually won't bid on an auction that doesn't accept PayPal for payment. Getting a money order can be a real hassle. David |

It also helps in the unfortunate event that the party you are buying from does not follow through with there end and does not ship to you what you paid for.

age i dunno but i do know a bank occount or credit card is needed so i suppose almost any age

ive got a bank account so i probably could, but jus talkin my mom into using paypal is going to be the worst thing id ever have to do. she hates giving personal info out over the web.

ive used it a few times and have had it a while. i have had no ill effects from havin it except the ease of using it.

I've been using PayPal for 3yrs, 100's transactions with no probs. what so ever.... I guess i've been lucky?

We use paypal for ebay and yes its awesome! and fast! You have to be 18 - credit card ? if you got one lol then ur in luck! Im 13 so i use my mommmys |
