| Train Help!
Ok I need help with a train. It has pistons on the outside. It has been a wonder of how they work. Kinda like a motor on the outside. I though they were Staf trains but nothin ever comes up? Will somebody help me?

There are also the Climax and Heisler. There were others but these (along with the shay) were the three most popular. Do a search for geared steam or logging locomotives.

"pistons on the outside" is indicative of a steam engine, or something designed to resemble one. I had quite a few trains when I was a kid, but they were all electric... |
