Is there a mini servo for your 3rd channel now? or is it standard size? if its mini try a hs-85mg metal geared servo. But i still think you will hve to let off when you shif...or be prepared to replace gears

about the only thing i can help you with is the shifting servo. if you get a faster one, not neccesarily more powerful, i assume it would shift faster, presuming you let of the throttle and hit it again fast enough. no i don't think it will shift without letting off the throttle, i think there is something incorporated in the tranny which doesn't let it shift when torque is being applied to it. i could be wrong though.

I highly reccomend replacing the stock 2055 steering servo with something more powerful though, i plan to get another hitec 645mg servo for mine. a friend of mine has one in his tmax and it'll turn the front wheels like they aren't even there, even when standing still. it's also more responsive and quicker than the original

the stock servo for the trans should be fine - no matter how fast the servo is you'll still have to let off on the throttle as already mentioned, it's pretty much the way it's designed. As far as that TQ3 goes, I've never had a problem -
If you're looking for upgrades for the EMaxx you might consider upgrading that steering servo to the Hi Tec HS645MG, upgrade your axle and drive shafts to metal cvds, put some sway bars on the front AND rear - and then swap out those stock shock springs for black dual-rates and change your shock oil- i'm sure there are different schools of thought on the shock oil weight, myself I run 30 and then position the shocks on top all the way in and on the bottom all the way out. For me this made my maxx VERY stable, and very solid. A friend of mine and I got EMaxxs pretty much at the same time - his is bone stock and mine is as mentioned above - I can out-everything him with mine.
Hope this helps

the shifting servo will not change

i already have a hitec 645 on my emaxx for steering

driveshafts: mine are stocks ... when something broke i will buy revo ones
shocks: i have big bore withnthe stock oil ... btw they're too soft so i have to buy a heavier oil
well i dont know wtf are the sway bars on the emaxx ... what are they for?

another mod will be a spool on the rear for more climbing power ... and maybe some swamp dawgs

but my first problem is the radio system .... the spektrum is winning ... the dx 3.0

where its the cheapest place to buy it? ...ebay?
