Best bet would be find a cheapy rc at Walmart/ToyRus/etc..............and try to fit the body. Outside of that not having a functional rear axle or trans or anything, the rest of it would still be a PITA to make into RC. You would have to create EVERYTHING from scratch. It you are set on the Cougar (excellent choice of auto btw), I would go ahead and get the kit..............then search for an rc with just about the same width and wb to stick under the body. edit: actually, I have two el-cheapo 1:18 (toy grade) RC chassis' sitting around right now. If you can match up the width/wb, I could pretty much give you the guts of them because I just want the bodies. Last edited by Robb; 08-17-2007 at 08:45 PM. |

Maybe an HPI Micro RS4 would work for a chassis to put under it.

Id slap the body on an older pan car. Possibly modified to fit the wb. Pan cars are nice as they are flat and super simple.

Yes you would. you can build your own chassis. I would suggest using lexan to do this its very easy to work with. Since its a pan car the chassis is completely flat only thing to worry about is counter sinking a few holes.
