| Things RC has taught me
A few things I've learned in recent days: 1. Welding barefoot (and in shorts) - Bad idea. 2. Gluing tires without a T-shirt on - Bad idea. 3. Soldering while wearing nothing but boxers - Bad idea. 4. Dropping a hot soldering iron is fine, trying to catch it - Bad idea. 5. Learning not to catch a hot soldering iron - Good idea. 6. Letting it land in your lap while wearing boxers - Bad idea. Feel free to add to the list. |

| Seriously though. I've had so many close calls while trying to solder batteries together in my boxers, it isn't even funny. I gave up trying to smoke a cigar and do anything too. I know more than a couple of my tlt diffs have ashes inside the jb weld. Apparently I haven't the dexterity for it. Last edited by Cloak; 08-26-2007 at 11:22 PM. |

Even though it is a Pencil type soldering iron, hold the tip like a pencil is not good for your fingers. Hobby knifes can be deadly, lets leave it at that. Measure several times screw it up when drilling start over. |

If you're wearing only your boxers while soldering and you see some liquid solder spill on the floor, DON'T hit it with a hammer.:-(

| Holding a motor with one hand and trying to drill out a stripped pinion gear set screw with a dremel. Its amazing how long it takes to hit bone.
