My folks lived in Tuscon for 30 yrs, I had the chance to transfer to Phoenix for the company I work for. I knew about the summer heat and said no thank you. I never told my folks. You live in a beautiful place, but that summer heat just kills me. Take care, lay low, drink lost of fluids be careful. I hope it changes soon. |

I woke up one morning to see the early news (5:00 AM), and they said it was 102 in Havasu Come on...when it doesn't even dip below the century mark overnight... Winter? What's that? We have hot as hades (better know as summer) and then not so hot (better known as NOT summer) Last edited by Offroader5; 08-29-2007 at 05:57 PM. |

I grew up in Phoenix, historically speaking the last 100* day is around October 20th. It might get to 99.5* untill thanksgiving but it is not 100*. Welding in full leathers in September is a killer. |

| I hear ya. SUCKS working outside right now. I'd rather be on the west coast in the middle of the desert at 120 degrees as to 80 degrees and high humidity we have now. The houses we're brickin right now are in the middle of a HUGE feild with NO shade anywhere. I've nearly white eyed a half a dozen times in the last few weeks.

Haha! Melt ;). Here the winter is coming, 5C (41F) in the mornings and ~15C (59F) during the day, rains every now and then. In the north below 0C (32F) =). Nice. |
