We do?! Who told you that? I know one guy over there--Bob. Last time I checked, Bob and I get along just fine. It's a non-issue. Nobody cares. My weekday worries are about making deadlines and coming up with a magazine that makes the most people happy as possible.

As far as magazines go, just buy what ya like. If you like RC Car Action, thanks for reading and thanks for your support.

After reading a couple issues I like RCD better for the variety of coverage, but RCCA is the only one I can find on any newstands around here. I have been reading RCCA since the mid 80's.

i had rcca, but then dropped it... and along with RCBM, when it switched to seasonal. and RCdriver covers both

and i think 20 bucks for a 4 mag a year is ridiclous, and especially when they are thinner than before (in refrence to rcbm)

I read them both for awhile...

I personally like and subscribed to RCD though.

Better crawler stuff, better reviews, just generally more interesting writing.

But's it's all subjective... read them both and see what you like.

I like RCCA...but maybe its cause im biased

Lately, RCCA has been doing more articles on crawling and i've gotten some good feedback on those articles.

Where one person wants to see more dirt oval coverage, another wants to see 1/8 scale racing. It's difficult to please everybody that picks up the magazine. You need to cater to the larger crowd while still getting the others attention. I for one don't want somebody to pick up the magazine and say, "There is nothing in here that I want to read.", and put it back on the shelf.

Honestly I have to say thats what I thought the last few times I've picked up an RCCA. I only picked it up because I wanted somthing RC to read and about all I can find in the DC area.
The last issue I enjoyed was with the Sensor and FMA Scorpion articles.

I get RCCA now and it looks like it is getting more into the crawling. I want to see a rc driver though because it seems like there is a lot about crawling. RCCA has a lot about nitros and racing but when you think about it, thats what most people in rc do. There arent very many of us crawlers when you compare us to the entire rc world.

I have subcriptions to both. In my opinion both are great mags. But honestly RC Driver is always laying on the coffee table.

I can't believe nobody has mentioned Xtreme RC Cars. That zine is by far the best of the 4 out there. Their reviews and tech articles are way more thorough and detailed than the others. I feel like I'm reading press releases in the other mags most of the time.

With that said, if you are looking strictly for crawler articles, XRC is lacking. RCDriver seems to have the best coverage of that; which is nice for newbies, but mostly old news for us RCC members.

i was wondering, do they (High Torque) still even publish R/C Car magazine? i used to read that one a lot, but they had this one staff writer that i thought was just a total idiot, and that kind of turned me off from that magazine....

plus, i haven't seen it on a news stand in well over a year....
