I used to race the HO scale many years ago. I actually miss it, but there is no HO track around anymore to race on. :-(

Word, I actually got cast out of the slot car crew at the LHS, WHen into crawling... got lots of good natured ribbing from the guys about being a traitor, LOL!!! Actually we started racing again last night, we are running 3 classes right now, Fly classic, Scalelxtric trans am (mustangs and camaros) and modern Scaley Trans am....
We also run a carrara Vintage nascar class, and a couple of more classes.
I run a Jagermeister Chevron, Camaro with black with silver scallops, and a red line Jag,

Pretty cool, I've been racing 1/24 for a couple months now, I'm looking in to buying this guys drag cars he is going straight to open class and running nothing but. he wants $500 the cars are worth about $700. if only I could sell me dirt bike. I'm thinking of getting a 1/32nd theres a little track over by where my dad works that races 1/32nd cars.

Its funny, years ago I was into RC, I had a Hornet, Wild one, Ultima, and a pair of clodbusters, (one was given to me a couple years after most of my freinds had given it to me) and then in the late 80's early 90's I got into 1/24th scale slot cars (I used to race at Eagle Hobbies in northern NJ) , then all the tracks closed up and I got into other things, now at 33 I am back into those 2 hobbies again.. strange how things come around...
I actually still have a toolbox filled with all m 1/24th scale stuff, all the foam tires are pretty dried out, but all my bodies and other stuff is still good... I just wish that I could find a big 6 lane track here in Pittsburgh that will handle the 1/24th scale stuff, It would be fun to run them again...
