| I want something different.
But everytime I think of something, I search and there it is 2 or 20 of them. so now I'm looking for some ideas, something different, doesn't necesarily have to be "out of the box" just different. Not stupid! just different. I want it to be scale (ish), crawlable and I guess just an all around rig. If anyone has seen that 1 truck or that 1 body that you've never seen anywhere esle on the forum or in real life let me know. I've been searching endlessly looking for that one picture or what have you and had no luck. this is open to serious replies. |

Scale version of Walker Evans independent suspension S-10 crawler. Something I have been wanting to build for years.

I want to see a custom tuber pinto... It has to be scale though. <-- totally serious... Or, I know.. A limo crawler.. Use a few hummer hard bodies and make a stretch limo outta it. Make it different and make it 6x6 though, and use rc4wd mudders.. That'd be bada**. Dude, even better.. A SCALE tuber BUGGY... That'd be tight. |

I'd like to make my own body but it'd take me forever as I'm limited on time for my own personal builds. GT-40 Pm me with more info on that rig. USMC-post that picture again. Keep them idea's coming in. If you suggest something that will require a body be built keep it limited in the curves as it's a pain to make out of sheet metal. |

| I was just checking out some pics of it without the body and wheels on it. I think it's doable I have some tmaxx diffs that I can use. USMC- it wouldn't work in it's current form but a couple slight changes and this was what I saw when I first saw your post. make the cab for a single driver. |

that's pretty cool looking. I'd have to make the rims and tires though. |

Neither of them are out of reach. They both are pretty one off. You could make a coffin to hold tools. |

taking a closer look at the truck.. Look in the middle of the rear axle, on top between the shocks (coils?). I think that qualifies as a stick chassis. DESTROYER- Have you taken a close look at the suspension on the evan crawler? It's indy but no A-arms and it's set up like a 4 link. Truely sick. I'd want to make it a 2.2 so it wouldn't be an exact replica cause he has 4 wheel steering and i'd like to make a scale comp at some point w/ it. Last edited by Double J; 09-12-2007 at 04:01 PM. |

Half stick, I think he used the stock chassis in the front, and tied it in the rear. Like this.
