yea that kind of talk is a fast track to getting serious humiliation through several people pointing and laughing. but in all seriousness no, nobody has yet to make a nitro into a worthy cralwer. if you have a maxx and wish to make a crawler out of it i suggest using the search feature and looking around the forum befor you ask to many questions. this forum is full of info but to save yourselve the heartache go look before you speak. by the way welcome to RCC! |

id suggest using the search function guy. i think a nitro crawler is possible and would be totally bad *** but you have to have some serious knowledge and deep pockets.

in all seriousness, a nitro crawler would require a LOT of gear reduction in te drivetrain and a 4 stroke engine to really work well. the reduction so that the rig could just creep foreward, and the 4 stroke engine for the added torque they produce compared to a 2 stroke engine of comperable size. imho it isn't worth it, just get a big outrunner, a MM esc, lock the tranny into first gear, and have at it.
