|  Halo 3 is Near
Well the time is coming up for the release of Halo 3, I already have plans on waiting outside to get a new system and the game at Midnight. Who wants it, who needs it, and who doesn't give a rats @$$. Post up.

All I say is that i enjoyed the episode that they showed some game shots and screen shots. I like it. I am not a run and gun type of player. I'm more of stealthy player.

Halo in general is so overly exagerated, and that people(mainly childish people) claim it to be the only reason to buy an xbox. I've played both 1 & 2 and am not overly impressed with either and don't see the 3rd to be any different. THe jump from one into two was like deja vue. And I'm just appauled at the ammount of money that Microsoft has dumped into the advertisements... even such (again) to team up with Mountain Dew to have special "Game Fuel". I'm not a Sony fanboy or pc fanboy, if I could I would have them all. Its a great franchise and big time money maker, but don't blow it out of proportion by saying, "OMGZ HALO PWNZ EVERYTHING!". I hate it and I'm sick of it! And I'm glad this is the last Halo game!  There, I know I vented a bit, and am sorry.

You know, I'm not really a Halo fanatic or anything, but I really enjoyed both Halo 1 & 2. I'll probably end up getting a 360 and Halo 3 sooner or later.

I preordered HALO for PC many years ago, then microsoft bought the rights and cancelled the game to bring it out on xbox. I realize its out now, but since then I have refused to play it or buy it. The one and only time I pre-ordered a game, and thats what happens, lol. | |

Speaking of Halo and Xbox 360. Have they fixed that red halo of death on the 360 yet?  I still have a PS2 and Xbox...don't use either - no time. Last "game system" I bought was a PSP for music, movies, and games (racing) while travelling. |

i am not interested in halo at all. i have always been more of an Unreal Tournament fan, myself. besides, Gears of War is 100 times better than any Halo ever published... |

I love Half-Life. I have played it since it first came out and Downloaded Counter-Strike the day they released the first beta to the public. They have the worst delays in the industry on their games, but its one heck of a story. If they were to make a movie, the story line is fantastic, but I think they want to milk the game for all its worth before making a movie, and they would be afraid a movie would cheapen the game and force them to release future chapters prematurely.

I kind of liked the gameplay of Halo I more, but I liked the additional weapons of HII. The minigun seems pretty sweet. Are they going to have a flamethrower after all? I wouldn't mind trying it out. I have to agree about half-life, though. I have the original, and the add-on, the one in the green box. They both are sweet. Gears of War seems pretty sweet.
