| Columbia President "Insults" Iranian President
Apparently the President of Columbia insulted the Iranian President Ahmadinejad in his opening: "Mr. President, you exhibit all the signs of a petty and cruel dictator." In short he questioned 9/11 ,the Holocaust, Israel's existence, gave his brilliant explanation on why he is building WMD's. "How come is it that you have that right, and we can't have it?" Here's a video and an article. ---------------------------------------------------------------- For all of you that don't give a damn about what happened. Here is a video of a burping elephant. http://youtube.com/watch?v=9V0ij6zczfo |

Does anyone find it odd that this guy, who is a "leader" of a suspicious country (to put it nicely), is wandering around giving speeches at US universities? For all we know, he's gonna run down the isle, rip his jacket off, exposing a vest full of C4, yell something in Arabic (with "Allah" in there somewhere) and blow the place to pieces! I know... totally stereotypical. And I really don't have a good enough grasp on politics to voice anything educated. Just seems odd to me as to why they'd even want him to speak... gonna go watch an elephant burp now... |

We're being primed to stir the pot in Iran...they're just laying the groundwork to drum up anti-iran sentiment.

And so the electoral collages who actually choose the president will have an opinion of him. Quote:
Do you remember the lead contaminated toys/dog food/tooth paste from China? I remembered the Anti-China mentality and that the Chinese firm in question co-partner mysteriously "committed" suicide. Makes you wonder what really is going on.

Michael Savage pointed out that Columbia blacked out their name on the lectern Mahmoud used. Shows just how proud they really were to have him there We should have hit those mother******s 30 years ago. Last edited by freetimecrawler; 09-25-2007 at 06:06 AM. Reason: inappropriate language |

While I agree with your original statement Stew, I needed to rephrase it for our PG13 forum.

| I don't know what was said originally but; While I have no other issues with/towards you. What you did, is pure B.S.! Either delete the post, or let it go. Don't change what the person said, to make it more p.c. in "YOUR" eye's. If it's bad enough for you to "change" someones public opinion, it should be bad enough just to delete it! Mods have every right to delete, move, refresh, whatever, they want. But changing someones words, is CRAP! my.02 Watch; This post will be deleted, not changed... Just watch. |

I changed 1 swear word, not his opinion. If Stew has a problem with that? He can delete or rephrase the post himself. IMO changing 1 swear word, isn't changing his opinion. If I felt changing the 1 swear word was going to change how his opinion appeared? I would have just deleted his post Edit: And why would I, or any other mod delete your post? Your entitled to your opinion, as long as it doesn't break any forum rules. I don't see your post as breaking any forum rules. Last edited by freetimecrawler; 09-25-2007 at 06:46 AM. |

| You're right! That's not changing anything. What about the filter RCC has? Is it broken? The reason I brought all of this up: I've personally had entire posts changed by Chip, & I know others that have had whole posts reworded by other new mods. I was told that Chip wouldn't be doing it anymore. Since he was told about it. Then I saw what you said & thought; "Oh, hell... Here we go again...". |

RCC must not have this swear word in their filter? And just to let others know. I would Never edit Anyone's post to change the way their opinion appeared. I'm not here to censor people's opinions. Just to help them follow, and enforce forum rules here at RCC. The only editing I have ever done on anyone's post besides my own was to delete a swear word, or in RC4WD's case once, I highlighted Star holding member because there were lots of non star holding members signing up. End of hijack.

Not a problem. Although, now that I think about it, I should have said 28 years ago. 30 years ago the Shah was still around. Oh, and the bad word? It's a compound word: what one does to a firearm when the hammer is pulled back, plus a slang term for lollipop. Mother****er is a more than adequate substitute |

You know, I dont agree with what trash spews from that moron's mouth, but Columbia had the right to bring him on campus and let him give his lecture. College is a place for learning...of all sorts. Not just the "good" stuff. I am glad they are actually educating these kids.

I think the idea behind letting him speak is more to show the world that unlike Iran we dont sensor everything and control what our people see.(unless its TV then the FCC goes wild) Im just not sure why we didnt take him out while we had him here unless they figure he is a known evil and its better to have a known evil than a wildcard. |
