Remember he is your pop and he is there so we can continue to be here and enjoying our country with out fear.

I lost a brother in Iraq a month ago. I never for one minute think he didnt want to be there for his country.

I give a big salute for all our rcc members and rcc members family members that have loved one defending us from the scum in that country.

One bit of advice...try to stay in contact as much as possible. Letters, emails, pictures, packages, etc. Try not to bring problems up either.

I was deployed to Iraq in 2005, my son went in 06, came back early this year, AND HAS TO GO BACK IN FEBRUARY 08, my daughter is supposed to deploy around April, and I am trying to get a different unit so I can go again.

I speak from experience.

We will all keep a good thought for your Pop.

From one service man to another, tell your dad thank you.
Send him toiletries; ie Preparation H wipes, Baby wipes, toilet paper, Sunscreen, and Chapstick. Send him good grades and acheivements of yours. Dont let him feel left out. Send him a prepaid phone card.

I feel you man. My cousin is going to Iraq for the second time now. He will be there for 1 and half years and will come home 2 times. I am trying to spend as much time with him as I can.

To KFX700; all the advice and thanks you and your dad have gotten goes double from me. Also, depending on were he is I may run into him. Yup, I'm in Afghanistan too.

To everyone else; thank you for you support and prayers. You will never know how much that means to every service member who is here or has been here. I personally can not adequately put my thanks into words.

And finally to kacz7895; I’ve got mine with me and I’m building a Hustler super. I hope to post pics soon. I’m still waiting on parts to show up though, to include the chassis kit.

everyone in the service is on my permanent "badass" list and will always have my respect and graditude!

Tell your dad that he rocks and he's a good example for young people to look up to! Theres not enough of those these days. You should feel lucky that your male rolemodel is actually a mans man.
