Default New hobby shop in utah...

First off... I'm not sure if this is the place to post this... sorry. Anyway, for anyone in the Salt Lake area, I just found a new hobby shop opening on 11400 south and state street in Sandy. I talked to the guy and he said he is aiming for mostly cars and truck. He was still waiting for stock when I stopped in, but looks like he's gonna have a pretty good set up. Just thought I'd throw it out there... It's called South Valley Hobby.

Yeah, I'm all about wv hobbies... But this guy seemed to be pretty interested in getting what the people wanted. He said he has talked to the guys at wvh about pricing and is planning on staying cheaper than them. Its just a matter of loyalty though... A lot of people are happy with what wvh does for them...

there was a hobby shop right there last year and I heard they closed after a couple months!
I work just up the street from there.
I will have to check it out but they will have to impress the hell out of me to sway me from west valley hobbies!

Good luck to them beating WVH hobbies prices, everything I have bought at WVH has been the same price as stuff on the net. I don't think you can get any cheaper.

After talking with the owners and seeing some of their prices... I know they beat wvh on some of their stuff... Granted they aren't gonna beat them on everything... They are still getting established. And I've got them really interested in crawling and getting into it. So hopefully wheel see some of that there soon!

I never said they were basing their prices off the competitors... He has compared his prices with other local stores to see where he stands. So far he beats most other prices, I've seen that myself. And I agree with you about WVH service... Thats why I posted this... These guys are interested in what the customer wants and wants to get it for them at the best deal... I personally have already taken a car in to be worked on that WVH wouldn't even talk to me about... Not only that... They had it bask to me within the hour...

This was never meant to be a pitch for a new hobby... Just an informant on the opening of a new store and the services they intended to offer...
