Probably some former military pilot reliving his glory days.

I have flow in worse. C2A Greyhound. No need for them to tell you where the life vests are... your wearing one before you buckle up. lol

I wonder how many sensors and alarms were going off.

As a kid we always flew on TAP when going back to the mother land. I remember as a kid sitting in the cockpit asking questions on what all the controls did and they had no problem showing me mid flight. The best was when they danced the plane around as they showed the how the different flight controls worked. My dad was in his seat and thought we hit some bad turbulence. Little did he know

Cool video. I am really not surprised though. The Portuguese people are nuts. You thought standing next to the road during a rally race is crazy; standing under the wing of an airbus as it skims the runway is rediculous. That's my people

That was cool - it takes mad skills to fly that big an airframe that low and slow...

I've fown TAP many times and really never had a problem until they land. Every time I fly them to the Azores and land it feels like we're drifting down the runway.

Was the trick done by the autopilot or flown manually? The height was kept so consistent over the runway. If I were offered a chance to go on board, I guess I can't resist and will say 'Yes' Must be very exciting
