I joined to see what the forum was like and I'm not sure if I want to crawl.

if you want a capable crawler out of the box, just spend the extra bit of cash and get an AX10

The WK is a great truck out of the box. But for a few simple mods (as described on this site - 55T motor, suspension links, gears) you can have a very capable crawler. For about 1/2 the cost of an AX-10, unless you already have an rx, tx, motor, esc, and batteries. Crawling is fun and addicting. You'll like it, trust me. and if you put the stock motor back in the WK, it makes an awesome trail truck, too! |

So I was wondering for a trail/track truck. What would it take to extend the wheelbase? I am limited on money so I was thinking right now I could get a WK and for christmas I could get BL and the extension.

Hey Hitman46, I saw your album and on some photos, I see a 9v battery on the chassis of your WK. Whats it for? A cooling fan? | |
