Mandatory drug testing programs would solve allot of problems in pro sports. The perjury issue could send this guy to the slammer for awhile.

I heard something like 30 years? If so, good. I hope he gets the full count on that.

He still hasn't been proven to take steroids. You can speculate all you want, but he's never tested positive. What about Mark Maguire, Sammy Sosa, all the others during the steroid era? Should the entire decade from 94-2004 of baseball records be erased? What about the comish, the players union? They all turned a blind eye. They only saw $$$ from the long ball. They are all just as guilty, but will never be punished. Yet someone who has never tested positive gets indicted for saying he never took it. That's the FAWKED up country we live in. Why did it take so long? He testified in 03? 4 years ago. Isn't there bigger fish to fry? |

| I met him once at a Giants vs D-Backs game a couple of years ago and he came off as a total asshat and when some kid asked "Mr. Bonds, could I please get your autograph?", I swear to god he rolled he eyes, shook his head and walked away. The bastard. I agree with ya BD. |

It was hours before the game started and there were maybe 50 people in the stadium.

Bonds gained 35 pounds over a FEW years, and half of that looks to be fat. I don't see how that is crazy in the least bit. He got older, he ate more. If he did take anabolics he didn't do it right, because he could have gained a lot more in a shorter period of time.

Does that explain his head and feet growing? Canseco and McGwire juiced as well...but for Bonds to blatantly deny it to the feds...reapetedly? |

So should he be allowed to take such things and his "record" be considered valid? Just another example of how stupid sports are these days. First the baseball strike, then the NHL strike...and all this crap the players are taking. Screw'm. |

It's not fare to Babe Ruth or any of the other greats of the past. I'm sure they didn't do any steroids or anything.

I don't give a crap what he takes honestly. It won't make him hit a ball with any more accuracy, and even skinny old 185lb Barry could hit a home run. This whole tirade on drugs and steriods and partially hydrogenated soybean oil is a big waste of my tax money IMO. As long as he isn't stealing or being violent he can hit the baseball juiced to the gills for all I care. It is his body to ruin if he wants to. I agree, screw em. |

Come 'on people. Pro Sports is a freakin joke. You guys pay money to see shit happen. You don't spend $80 and 4 hours at a Giants game to see nothing. These guys are selling the sport. You guys want homeruns, you guys want career ending tackles, you guys want fights on the ice.Why do you think we pay them millions of dollars?? If Bonds did roids I could care less. It's his body,it's his life.Whens the last time any sport was played "unaltered"?
