Well, it looks cool. Why anyone would want to buy one is as good a guess as any. This is just another well thought out step in the de-evolution of what was once a great trail vehicle.

670 horse.....

I wonder what would happen to the carbon if you scraped a few rocks and possibly even rolled it once.....

Hey, Its A Concept Vehicle.
I Think Its Cool As Hell.
It Works And Unlike Most Co.
Jeep Actually Takes It Off-Road.
Look For It A Some Big Rock Crawling Events Or A Jeep Sponsored Event.

NATE

What's so gay about it? I think it's pretty cool how many stock
4x4 have 670 horse under the hood and 4WS.

I thinks its lame for real world usage, no storage for anything (including the  cooler), the ground clearance SUCKS, must be a mechanical and electrical nightmare to work on, hate to the MPG with two hemi's and why so much work to have a zero turning radius!

But I do think its an interesting for a Concept vehicle and I do like the body styling compared to teh tradional Jeep.

But all in all, its pretty :rainbow: in my book.

Did anyone notice that its "thrill rated" not "trail rated".

LMAO Jim!!!!

670 hp cracks me up cuz it took 2 Hemi-riod motors to do it. I'd put my Bronc up against it at a truck pull, drag race, sand drag, or snow bashing.

Independent suspension sucks, and like Rick said no room for beer. It's a cute concept vehicle but it's a mall crawler.

wheres the soild axles??? If jeep even thinks of taking the soilds out from under the wrangler I will personally go down their and beat the living shit out of them with an axle. I mean its pretty, but thats all.

Sorry you feel that way but in 4Wheel and offroad the see it an evolution and have wondered WHY no one has tried to use the TTB ford front ends and a custom T-case setup to do just what JEEP has done........................I see what they are saying for example look at what the scorpion did for the 1:1 crawling world

Jeep has raised the bar for offroad vehicles period!!

Wow, your absolutely right! I have no idea why any company wouldn't think of offering a minimal ground clearance, multi-engine (Gas Guzzlers at that) off road "thrill" vehicle. I mean I can think of....... oh........ maybe two times that having a zero turning radius would be needed. And the maintance on two motors, transmissions and T.cases? Just think how fun that would be. How about the cost? I couldn't even begin to think how many "true" off road vehicles I could build with what that must cost.

Seriously, the concept is neat, but realisticly (sp) that thing would be an expensive nightmare to own. In regards to 4wheel and offroad, its my opinion that most CORPORATE owned magazines are "paid" to write favorably about certain manufacturers vehicles. So I guess I'm sorry you feel the way you do.

I guess thats why its a CONCEPT and not a production vehicle...................i never said it was a "practical" rig just another platform to build on............i'm not gonna get into a pissing match about it thats why people can form their own opinion and seeing the truck first hand at the detroit auto show it REALLY gets the cool factor going!!
i have a few pics i'll post later!!

The thing that some have overlooked is the Gladiator and is "last i have read will be in production soon!!

On the spec sheet DC has stated that the hurricane has the ability to drop off cylinders to maintain fuel economy and to operate each hemi either together or independly...........i'll see if i can dig it up!!
