What is your guys opinion of this Tbird?

I like it alot, and seems to be decent.

These are the questions I asked.
What is the millage on it?
Does it have original paint?
Are you the original owner?
Do you know how many owners its had?
Does it have any mechanical problems you are aware of?

From the pics alone it looks very good. That to me is somewhat scary! LOL! Nothing beats seeing the car in person, opening the hood, checking the oil level and a test drive. Any chance you can go see it or have someone you trust go see it for you?

Ask him what was the highest psi he has had it set to.

Note: He mentioned nothing about fuel management. Let alone any sort of data acquisition to show that the engine was not run lean.

Cosmetically it looks nice.

thats not a bad price for a thunder chicken with stang wheels. they were kinda underpowered for the weight and the turbos didnt last in them. looks great though.

Wires hanging down under the dash. Scrape on left front bumper. Possible repaint right side & and front from my best look at the pics. Plus oil spots in the drive way questionable? I would have a body repair shop look at it and check for salvage title on this car. But your the buyer, I would pass on it especially in a time when gas is heading upwards towards $4. a gallon. IMO. Good Luck!!!

something about an 80s turbo ford just doesn't sit well with me. Actually I had a friend who had one of those, and the turbo made the power barely adequate, rather than downright pitiful. I wouldn't mess with it NA cars are much less trouble, and they're less likely to have been abused by former owners. Buy a nissan maxima I love mine.

You got a good eye.

It as 170.000 miles on it. I think I'm going to pass.
