Default RPM products e-mail campaign

I am just getting ready to take the leap into crawling and am not sure what if any RPM products are made for most crawlers. I do not know about the rest of you, but I like RPM products. In particular I like their dyeable rims. I wish they made more of their items in a dyeable version; especially their traxxas gear covers. That being said, I recently wrote RPM asking about the possibility seeing their suspension / chassis parts offered in dyeable versions. The reply I received was this;

Thank you for your confidence in RPM products. We try our best to make the most rugged and durable products and at reasonable prices and it is always a pleasure to hear from end users such as yourself that appreciate the efforts we place into each and every part we build. Thank you for noticing!
Yes, it would be possible to build almost any of our products in a dyeable version. Unfortunately, there aren't all that many people out there like you that are willing to take the time to customize their vehicles with a home-dyed project. I'm afraid dyeable white simply doesn't sell that well for us. If it did sell better, we'd be more than happy to release everything we produce in white but I'm afraid that simply isn't the case. I apologize for the bad news.
Take care and thank you for your interest and support of RPM products. If you have any other questions or comments, please feel free to send us another e-mail.

What this reply says to me is that with enough peopleasked for them they would offer more parts in dyeable versions. I for one would like to do a vehicle with custom dyed components throughout. I call on any of you out there that would also like more dyeable parts to write RPM at Talk2Us@rpmrcproducts.comand let them know you want dyeable parts. If enough of us write we will get more dyeable parts.

What dyeable parts could there be? Most crawlers are mad out of mostly metals and few plastic parts.

What exactly does rpm produce that we use? All I personaly know of is a few wheels. Or actually a better question would be what do they produce that you would want to dye?

Oh yea next time please dont use blue in your post.

Emailing isn't going to make them listen.

The reply even says: "I'm afraid dyeable white simply doesn't sell that well for us. If it did sell better, we'd be more than happy to release everything we produce in white but I'm afraid that simply isn't the case."

You need people to buy more in WHITE for them to produce them.

RPM already makes narrow 2.2 wheels for us, So its not like they dont give a rip. They are watching, but then again there is still a bigger market for the nitro maxx type stuff.

I changed the font color so we can read it.

I don't know what else RPM makes that we use besides wheels. They already make the wheels in black and chrome.

Sorry about the font color.
binaryterror - People cannot buy more white items when they are not available.

There is one undisputable fact about buisnesses; if a product is called for by enough people somebody WILL make it. Period. PLUS - if RPM sees a market for it you can bet other manufactures would follow suit.

Look at crawlers! From what I understand, at first all crawlers were custom built. How many can you now buy kits for? Why are there now kits? People wanted them and the companies listened.

Look at the HPI Wheely King - How many extended wheel base kits are available for it already. This is not becasue the manufacturer said "lets make an extended wheel base kit and see if it sells". It IS because people wrote / e-mailed / called companies asking for it.

Like I said, I am not sure how many items RPM makes that crawlers use, but that is not the point. How many of you own RC vehilces other than crawlers? Quite a few I would imagine. How many custom crawlers are built around components (Traxxas trannies for example) that RPM does offer parts for? All I am asking is for those of you out there that think having more parts offered in dyeable white to e-mail RPM and tell them so.

Take a minute or two and tell the companies what you want and then do like I did - start looking for other people who think it is a decent idea and ask for their support.
