| "How to get the traction to the ground!"?
"How to get the traction to the ground!" wouldn't that be a better title for a suspension forum? it sounds like that title is trying to say we are having issues reaching the ground or something? its a tad confusing when thinking about tires, tires just go where the ground is, or where they can "reach" for say. maybe "how to get the traction from the ground" or "how to get traction with the ground" would be a bit more fitting? just posting this as it confuses me each time i read it, and think how that relates to tires and wheels. i even went as far as to bring it up at work today with a few of guys who use other forums. no one really seemed to understand how that statement was meant to relate to tires exactly. kind of like "army intelligence" i knwo 99.9% of what i type is retarded and confuseing so if im uber lost here its ok. hahaah...... traction, –noun 1.the adhesive friction of a body on some surface, as a wheel on a rail or a tire on a road. 2.the action of drawing a body, vehicle, train, or the like, along a surface, as a road, track, railroad, or waterway. 3.Medicine/Medical. the deliberate and prolonged pulling of a muscle, organ, or the like, as by weights, to correct dislocation, relieve pressure, etc. 4.transportation by means of railroads. 5.the act of drawing or pulling. 6.the state of being drawn. 7.attracting power or influence; attraction.Adhesive friction, as of a wheel on a track or a tire on a road. friction 1.surface resistance to relative motion, as of a body sliding or rolling. 2.the rubbing of the surface of one body against that of another. 3.dissension or conflict between persons, nations, etc., because of differing ideas, wishes, etc. seems the 2 things here are tracton and fricton. well and killer style finds it way in also!........ yes, iv had too much time on my hands. sorry, i cant give u back the last 2mins of ur life, i oew u. thanks |

I was lost at first. Then went and looked at the tires and wheels section. I didn't even notice we had subtitles. |
