Lame, I personally will not support anything or anyone who are willing to take short cuts to gain some sort of self fulfilling advantage.Whether people agree or not Jesus is the Reason for the Season(Christ-Mass).

First off, I'm an atheist. I don't mind 1 single bit the mention or celebration of any holiday the religions might have. Especially now with the over use of marketing, Christmas isn't what it was meant to be anymore. Now its more about gifts and greed (both personal and corporate). In the US Christmas is nothing like what the holiday was meant to be...good job GREED! |

Here at work our Christmas break is called "Winter Holidays" break. I'm so sick of all the PC crap that goes on. The world is fawked up and I feel sorry for my kids. It's my hope that global warming causes an ice age and all the stupid fawkers and jackass lawyers in the world get culled.  |

Not on the subject of holidays but more of how much I hate laywers. I am a Civil engineer in the Traffic engineering field. We just had to go through and rewrite our standards because some jackass sued the city for "Intenionally putting a bump in the road that caused damage to his car". The jackass was speeding and hit SPEED BUMP which is there to slow you down. So from now on there is no such things as a Speed Bump, they are now called Speed HUMPs. Second, family members sued the state for the Guard Rail not stopping the speeding car from falling down the hill when the drunk ass smashed into it at 25mph over the speed limit. From now on there is no such thing as a guard rail, now they are call Guide Rails. Idiots! |

I just want to know when the idea of "Freedom of Religion" got twisted into "Freedom FROM Religion"... I could care less if you want to celebrate the solstice of hanaquanzachristapuss... You can even put up decorations and wish me a happy one. Where did all this "offending others religious beliefs" come from? |

My kids school doesn't have a Halloween party they have the 'Fall Celebration' the kids can take everything related to Halloween but the costume. Same for the Xmas break they call it 'winter break'.

At the grade schools around here they don't allow swings anymore, you can't play tag and I heard they changed the name of "tug of war" to tug of peace. I can't believe what this country is becoming. If you don't like it don't celebrate this is the stuff this country was built on. |
