| Axial Hex Drivers ?
I was wondering if anyone has used Axial Hex drivers. I have big hands and need something with more leverage. I currently use Associated Hex Drivers which work great, but after my AX10 build my finger tips were pretty worn down. |

I'll say I love my set of axial hex drivers. I don't think I would ever have the money to get a set on my own but the ones I got BD won in an giveaway and gave them to me. They rock and I love them. I have a set of the metric size drivers on my Christmas list.

I know what you mean about the handles. Sometimes a plastic handle is more comfortable than a knurled aluminum one.

| X2 they look nice but don't think I would spend that kind of money on a set, I have the integys myself, cheap and dependable! for about 35.00 a set.

I tried a couple Hudy hex drivers...... The handle is nice, but they did not last to long.

| 1) Don't know...look nice but not in stock at any lhs. 2) Handle is too heavy and provides no real grip for tight screws and the shank is waaay too short! I have many brands of drivers and my favorite is RD Logics, good hard long-lasting tips, looong shank, and lightweight handles that I can really get a grip on! Replaceable tips too. http://www.rdlogics.com/cgi-bin/cate...tegory=dealers http://www.rdlogics.com/cgi-bin/cate...category=Tools Axials look very nice and I'd like to see one in person. There is nothing worse and more frustrating than a cheap hex driver... Save your money and buy some good ones I have owned a set of Associated for years I recently upgraded to a set of Axials and love them... |

Thanks for the advice everyone. I've ordered the Axial Hex drivers. My Godzilla hands can't wait to hold a propper ergonomically designed handle.. |
