I know I am tired of the snow!! I would be willing to chip in some coin and manual labor to start one of these. The question is do any of the Denver Big Boys have the room at there shops for this? I know this is probably a pipe dream, but thought I would throw it out there. Any thoughts?

I've thought about it, bad thing is it would up my shop rent by a little over $1000 a month. If you can figure out how I recoup that $1000 a month I'm game.

| I think all we would have to do is sell crack out in the back alley. Who is down to be the crack clown, taking applications at the front desk. Come on, don't be scared.

i dont have much coin to throw but im good at manual labor! I know Dan at finish line was talkin about it... Does anyone have an Unfinished Basement they wouldnt mind us building a course in? or even a 2 car garage for the season.. we could make it modular to move outside in the summer.. can anyone talk thier wife or mother into parking outside during the winter? or.. we could all work together to inclose Finishlines course... or talk a local hobby shop into letting us build an indoor course! ive been drooling over the RC Hobbies location down off of Holly and County Line in Littleton... whol needs a Mini track.. they could make bank on crawler parts! |

Having it at someones house sucks, most wives aren't gonna like to deal with a bunch of grown men dragging rc cars in and out of their basements into the wee hours of the night.

If it was made to be portable and could put it together on site. Why couldn't we take it to a public park or something. Still would be cold, but at least we have a place to crawl without snow on it! Our biggest problem is that it snows the day before a comp and is fine the day of, but the damage was done.

well.. for now being winter.. we just have to either have a backup location already found, own shovels, or just install tire chains on our crawlers.
