Default Crawlerado Scale Comp - 3/14/09 at Palmer Park - Lazy Land Location A

Sorry guys... with workin on the top truck stuff and whatnot - i totally forgot to post up a thread for this saturdays comp.

Palmer Park - This Saturday! March 14th 2009!
Location -Lazy Land - Location A on the map- comp starts at 9:30 am.
$5 per rig to run

Look for my Black Chevy 4 door truck.

Map of Palmer Park: http://www.springsgov.com/units/park...palmer-pg1.pdf

This is the last comp for points in this yers scale series! Who will walk away with a trophy? Lets try to knock out a couple of gated courses this weekend! remember, the more we run, the more points you can score and blow the other guys out of the water!

The trophies will be awarded at the Top truck challenge at Finish Line RC on April 11th 2009. Be sure to be there!

Anyone have a good idea on which parking lot to meet in for the pal,er park get together? i know that the one on the right just past the dog park is a good one.. does anyone know of another that has some good scaleness to it that we have not used yet?

the stock 1.9 class - ie, cc-o1's and ta02 type stuff has the stock tamiya tire rule... either the bfg mud trerain lookin tires or the all terrains . next year we may axe that rule, but to keep it even this year it is truely a stock class.

now, the scale 1.9 class, you can run any tire you would like.

Also remember gusy that it is $5 to run.

Hey Cato.. ive got room in my truck if you wanna car pool.. but im leaving Castle Rock at 7:30am. That open to anyone else as well.. ive got room for 3 people in my Duramax. Hit me up if you need a ride.

The "lazyland" location is actually not at the lazyland indicated on that website. basically follow the signs for lazyland, there is a gate that is normally closed, park there and walk up the trail to the east to get to the slickrock.

The slickrock area is in the red:

I doubt I'll miss any more of those, I had a fawking great time. Next time I'll have a winch and some more scale touches.
Whoever that weird guy is that makes those scale pull palls has got a hit on his hands! Imma have to get one of them...
