Rough day, first run broke a stub shaft still finished the run with a decent time. Second run we were haulin ass, I hit the triple step up kinda jacked, it pitched the car funky and landed on just the right front. It compressed the shock totally which flexed the front to max, the fitting for the new ARB hit the lower mount for the radiator shoving the bottom of my radiator up maybe an inch. Ripped 3 of the tubes out of the tank of the rad. Worst part of the whole thing, I went to check the leader board..... in second place. Wasn't much we could to to fix it in time to not miss the next couple runs putting us with no shot at the money. We tucked our tails and ran for home.

That really sucks after having such a good run. Thanks for letting my son sit in the rig - he thought that was pretty cool. I'm sure that you'll have better luck in a few weeks! Oh... love the horn by the way!

Glad he had a good time. The horn is a fun toy, the guy in the red buggy we ran against said it made him nervous as hell. I needed to put a bigger radiator in it anyway, guess this will just speed up that process. We'll get it sorted out, get the bypasses on the rear so it's not so soft and get some revenge June 20th.

Not forget, ran out of time more like. We compressed everything and it had plenty of clearance, what we didn't take into account was the axle swing. Just the front fully compressed the fitting was far enough away I didn't think it would be an issue. That's what I get for thinking I guess. With 2 shocks in the hoops now where I had my bumps they won't fit now, radiator needed to be moved to make bumps fit and we just didn't have time. Just stiffened up the last stage on the bypass and I guess it wasn't enough. All I can say is holy hell they work good, all I worry about is not coming up short and don't worry from there. We overshot a couple jumps big time and them shocks just soak it up, no rebound, just land in the flat and keep haulin. I have to go re-work Joeys truck harness next weekend, taking the rig with me so we can stuff the shocks on the rear and get the bumps figured out.

Yea swing by the XRRA race on the 20th and 21st, we'll have our issues ironed out well before that. Was just out looking at the rig, can cram a couple inch larger rad in there, tilt and raise it a tad and we're in business. Might even try to go down to RAM and run around some before the XRRA race, might have to snag a Bastard and a Turtle to tag along.

She's fine, just had a little red mark was all, sounded worse than it was. I think the alum on the roof helped amplify the skull on steel sound.
