Snow on rocks NOW.....BUT! ....Tim C. and Hootie will be melting it off tommorow so no worries. they got some kind of industrial heater/blower deal that runs off propane and will be melting down the snow prior to the comp. So we should be just fine, see you all there. |

Ladies and Gentlemen, A quick announcement of a change to our series! Due to the hour change and the number of competitors we've been expierencing we're making a few changes to our format! ******First we will be starting vehicle spec at 9am sharp!!****** We will be running 2.2 first starting right after spec! We will have 1.9 courses set up in one area that can be ran while your waiting for 2.2 In 1.9 everybody thats competing are also Judges! So whoever runs becomes a judge for the next person and so on If we follow this we will have a final in the sun and everybody can make it home at a good time! |

Snow was almost gone when I saw the rocks last night @ 6:30 and they were still going, but the ground will be pretty muddy, so no going by to practice and climbing on the rocks with your muddy shoes. If you go by stay off the rocks! We are going to be making the mud and snow (if any) "out of bounds" anyway to keep the rocks from getting ruined with mud, so dont drive in the mud and then get on the rocks. You will just be ruining it for everyone else on sat. if you do. Thanks guys. Last edited by Ralphy; 11-19-2009 at 09:32 AM. |

Hey there BOB! The 2.2 class will still be going strong if we have the turnout that we have been having. So quit whinning and come on down. For everyone else, please try to get there earlier than 9 so we can get started on time. It will really help so that we are not running in the dark. thanks again everyone! |

If we are starting before the store opens, who's collecting entry fees? Who's passing out sheets? What about those paying with credit/debit cards? If we were to show up late (because of work, etc.) what's the latest that we can show up and still run? If I work (this week I'm off, but I'm scheduled to work the saturday of the next comp), I'm not off until 1:15, and would be there around 1:30 - 1:45, would that be too late? Overall I like the change, means less sitting around waiting for 1.9's to run, all the 2.2's can get started before noon. Also means those that aren't in the top 5, and have places to be can get there on time (without having to be rushed in front of everyone.) |
