| Pikes Peak International Hill climb
Friday June 25th is the fan fest in downtown Colorado Springs. Got this from another board:Fan Fest is the annual pre-race celebration held in downtown Colorado Springs (Tejon St. between Colorado Ave. & Bijou St.) promoting the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb. This event is FREE and typically features a large Budweiser beer garden, live bands, chili cook-off, motorcycle jumpers and Denver Bronco cheerleaders as well as other live entertainment. Top race qualifiers will display their vehicles (cars, trucks, quads, motorcycles, etc.), give driver demos and be present for autograph sessions. Sunday June 27th is the actual race, so who is going? Is anyone interested in camping out for the whole weekend down there? I thought there was another thread, but didn't feel like looking too hard. |

I'll be at the fan fest for sure. I got Marcus Gronholm, Davey Durrelle and Rhys Millen's autographs last year I thought Rally America was going to be here but I can't find any info on it. here's a ride-along with the 450 supermoto class champ (Stuart Sinclair): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XcY3kCfrMQ4 And Rhys's run http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kfF55LIxZo4 |

Anyone else? I realize scalers are fun and all, but Pikes Peak comes once a year. |

Sorry Turtle, I'm out. I am going scale crawling but if that doesn't work out I will either work on the trailer or go watch Pickett race.

Casey and I'll be at Fan Fest and the race... My wife and I are friends of the Dallenbachs... Paul will be racing Unlimited this year. Don't have a plan for Fan fest, but will probably ride up with Wally Sr. and his wife, Peppy for the race. We'll be in the pits and VIP tent, but may walk up a ways to watch some of the racing... ~Troy |

Lovell got 3 of 9. Also looks like my step brother was the 3rd fastest one up the hill OVERALL, and won the open wheel class. The only 2 people that beat him up the hill were Tajima and Dallenbach Here is a link to the times. http://www.usacracing.com/ppihc/ts/2010 | |
