|  Rc showoff & ken bloom's carshow benefit bbq
Ok Guys I am blessed to be approach by DAN @FINISH LINE RC to help with an upcoming BENEFIT FOR HIS FRIEND THAT IS DYING.. Here is the info (will be updated as needed). KEN BLOOMS BENEFIT CARSHOW - RC CARSHOW & FREE BBQ. SUNDAY SEPT 19th. move in for the fullsize carshow & custom RC carshow is 8am to 12noon. SHOWTIME 12NOON TO 5PM. BOTH CARSHOWS ARE OPEN TO ALL CATEGORIES!! PRIZES TO BE AWARDED AND FINISHLINE RC GIFT CARDS!... BRING OUT YOUR STUFF TO SHOW OFF..SCALERS TO AVIATION. ALL WELCOME.. $2 ENTRY GOING TOWARDS KENS BENEFIT. NO EXCUSES SO SPREAD THE WORD!! *ROCKS WILL BE OPEN, *DRIFT/RACE TRACK OPEN, *PULLER TRACK OPEN.. SCALE AREA A WORK IN PROGRESS OUT BACK!! CARSHOW WILL END UP A "CRUISE IN" LATE INTO THE NIGHT!! NIGHT SCALE RUNS. NIGHT DRIFTING ENCOURAGED!!.. FREE BBQ WHILE IT LASTS!! PLEASE UNITE AND SUPPORT DAN'S FRIEND.. MUCH RESPECT TO YOU ALL....

Im, definitely down and ill try and get my dad to bring down his truck that we built for him.(69 step-side Chevy) Sounds like a good cause and Dan and the guys down there have been nothing but helpful and supportive to me (Newbie crawler) and all the other people i have seen come down too.

| Sunday Sept. 19th 2010
For me,,days like Sunday are very humbling. I can only hope to have made the kind of friends that I saw comeout on Sunday. Some people didnt or dont know Ken Bloom or his wife Sue. I am very proud to say that I do know him now. I hope and pray for only the best for Ken and Sue. I am assured in my own heart that Dan Connor will find a spot waiting for him behind the heavenly gates too. I thank Dan for asking me to join in and then allowing me to be a strong part of the event and relationships that took place and grew Sunday. Dan truely is a kind hearted person. Ruffneck Crawlerz,,,you guys rock too. The guys and gals that showed up with a car or truck or just came to look at them,,,Thanks to you as well. Thanks to every individual who dropped a dollar in a pot or a box on Sunday. And to Tom Barger,,I have a special note to you man,,,,you really struck a chord with me just before you left,,,,I am grateful. Wow...sorry for the rambling guys...heres some pics and descriptions. The Man of the day,,Ken Bloom and Dan Connor, the owner of Finishline RC  Dan with Ken & Sue Bloom  The award of the day was the Ken's Choice Award, given to the Orange Vickie.....Good choice Ken.  Lookin out from and around the event....somewhere around 60-70 cars, trucks and bikes.       The crew and the event happenings were everyhwere.
