| "The City Brawlers Challenge" KOM Foff April 20th!
Time to get that FOFF rig your working on done for Colorado's first Formula offroad event! Event: The City Brawlers Foff "King of the Mountain" (KOM) Date: Wednesday April 20th @ 4pm (courses will be up so some can come late) Location: 112th and Vrain (between Huron and Sheridan) see map: http://maps.google.com/maps/ms?ie=UT...26071&t=h&z=16 Now for the official rules: Vehicle Requirements: No nitro (don't want to draw attention) Other than that NO vehicle requirements NO wheelbase limit Cost: None Scoring: There is no scoring! Judges: There are no judges! (just a time keeper and spectators) Easy enough? Here's how King of the Mountain will work: A course will consist of a series of gates that the competitor will have to drive through without hitting one in a set amount of time. If a gate is hit you must drive back through the start gate (without hitting it) and then proceed to the next set of gates after the one you hit. For example if you hit gate 2 and after you drive through the start gate you'll go to gate 3. You only get to hit 3 gates on the 3rd one your run is done! Anytime you have to touch your rig (rollovers, stuck, etc) you have to drive through start gate and proceed to the gate you were on. If your truck gets stuck and you have to rescue it you can "toss" it as far as you dare (no carrying your rig) and of course back to the start. Gates are always live (even ones you've progressed or hit already) Only you the driver can rollover or "unstuck" your own truck. 3 courses will be set up and ready that gradually get harder (1 easiest and 3 hardest) All competitors will get to attempt course 1 and ONLY the finishers go on to course 2. Then ONLY the finishers move on to course 3 if more than one competitor makes it through course 3 they get to battle it out on the "Widowmaker" If more than one or noone makes it up widowmaker in the allowed time we'll have a "race-off" to the top and the first one up will be named King! If a course has no finishers everyone that was running it gets a second chance with 1 minute added to time until theres at least one finisher.(except Widowmaker) All competiors that are eliminated must step up to be Timekeepers and course designers if needed. Rock throwing allowed and the main rule NO WHINING allowed!!! Last edited by Mr Glassman; 04-18-2011 at 10:48 PM. |

Yes and Yes That's why I stated some can come later. We're just starting at 4 for the few of us that can. The courses will all be set and the late comers can play catch up (which is'nt hard giving our small group and 2 minute courses) We just need to be finished by sundown. | |
