I used to drag..it died out here through the late 80's and the 90's...mine was a pro stock on a modified RC12 running 18 volts and handmade silicone tires...the chute was my favorite part of the build and it worked everytime....Id probably get back into it with enough guys and a location to run....too bad we cannot get onto the old Stapleton runways. ROcket cars are a freakin blast too...4-5 D motors and a little luck and maybe your rig wasnt a lawn dart. The bigger short burst high thrust motors you can buy now would be much better...come to think of it I can still smell what burning L.A. Gear's smell like..

With all the crawlers and pullers around, maybe there would be a interest in sand drags. Look up "rc sand drags Kapaa" on youtube. Looks pretty cool!

The MRC axle, i was talking about before, setup with 4 link. I still gotta mount the shocks and cut a slot for the driveline to come through the back of the chassis, and then mount a locked pede tranny on it. Then Im off to work on the front end, I got a couple plans for it so far but nothing concrete.
