Because of everyones lack of volunteering as of now the program is over!

I will take the names up to here that I have and they will be in the drawing for the wraith!

Thanks to the small number of volunteers that stepped up!

Pretty Sad! I don't blame you for making that decision, you tried to do something nice as an incentive and it still doesn't motivate people to help out.

How do you think it would work if there were no judges? Clipboard's there, start of the course. A few people make their way over and judge each other. I think everybody has enough integrity to make good calls even if it's your bro from team whatever that's running. A little more chalk to show the flow of the course..

Insane?

From what I have seen for one judging would not be consistent, 2 not everyone understands the rules in their fullest. And 3 no one would run. I have seen drivers rather not run a course if it ment they had to help and judge.

Free entry? I will judge and set a few courses, I'm not scared.

I think we need a draw, wait until everyone has signed up and paid, then put names in a hat and draw. If you get choosen and don't wanna judge then go the f@#k home, it's that easy.

See, i fixed the problem that quick, now where's my cookie

I think it should be names drawn from the pool of paid series participants. If you entered this series then you should know the rules an how to judge. Put all the names on a list and draw in order. If you aren't present then you judge at the next comp. move down the list and start over once you've run through the list. I still think you could take volunteers and just fill the spots needed off the list.

I'd be happy to keep and track the list and handle posting up for the judges who volunteer and list the people who's turn it is.

Good ideas there, split up the workload a bit. I don't know who the refusers are but that's jacked up. Go be lazy at home.

We did that last season and it seemed like every event the same people were judging. Not that it is any different from this season.

I say everyone needs to judge despite being in the series or not. If you are capable of showing up and driving you are capable of judging 1 or 2 events in a season. Its really not that tough and as long as a judge is consistent all day, getting a rule wrong isn't that big of a deal.

I totally agree with you there Ty

But how do we get these people to do this? Many of the veteran crawlers aren't even judging at these comps. Everyone knows a judge is needed and yet all hide in the shadows and let the "usuals" do it.

The "usual's" need to not volunteer so quickly and see if anyone will step up. I say every comp there's different judges, can't judge 2 comps in a row. Nobody steps up to help we don't run courses or not as many. Don't know what you have till it's gone.

I call them out at Coal Creek and say you need to judge or leave...

Call em out TY, we got your back. If they don't like it then they can find a new hobby. I'm sure Mica has a list of all who have judged, find the ones that havn't and enroll them.

But in my version they saved one tree that had the last of a species and paved around it forever keeping that creature safe.

good point, they do step up right away....as it should be. But at just about every comp there has still been a spot or 2 left open until the day of....plenty of time for others to step up.

I thought it was ditched due to lack of participation besides the usuals.
