Default Potential scale run on 5/20/2012

A few friends and I have tentative plans for a small scale run somewhere in the Denver metro area.

I know this is the same date as the Winter series comp, so I know that's on people's calendars.

Location has not been decided yet as it will depend on how far people would be willing to drive or where they are located.

Coal Creek is my top choice, but it's a fair drive for anyone like me on the east side of the metro area. Other than that, other potential choices would be Daniels Park, The Dam in Parker or any other place suggested.

If you're interested, get back to me here, give me a call or let me know on Saturday the 19th at The Crawl Space during the swap meet.

This is intended strictly to be a fun day. No judging, no courses (unless you want to set something up) and no rules.

Any suggestions on a destination? Preferences?

I'm taking any reasonable ones. Location does not matter as long as there's room to park, we're allowed to be there and it's decent for scalers.

I've been discussing locations on this last night and I think you guys will like what's in store for the near future.

I don't compete in the Colorado Winter series. Hence why I planned it on the only day I had available in the near future.

Nice, pretty much whenever. I might bring a buddy but he's not sure yet. Let me know what works for you?

Coal Creek is out. I don't want to have this underfoot of the Winter Series comp. Not to mention there's very limited parking as-is.

The front runners right now are Daniels park (although I heard a rumor that they don't like R/C vehicles there), The Dam in Parker, Mini Moab (if water level isn't high) or Lutz.

The spillway called Mini Moab is just south of 110th and Benton in Broomfield.
