| Denver Crawl at Rocky Mountain R/C TOMORROW!
hey, I just got back from doing a little crawling over at Rocky Mountain R/C Hobbies (County Line and Holly) and it was tons of fun. I was by myself, but they have a bunch of dirt piles for their new track there. most of the dirt is soft, but a few piles have big ol' clumps. it's really difficult terrain, but tons of fun. There's also a drainage ditch i found. It starts out about 2' wide and 1' deep, but as you go farther down the hill, it varies from 4' wide to less than a foot wide. it gets really deep too, like 6' in some places. it's filled with rocks and concrete chunks and of course, everybody's favorite: MUD. just a little though ;). the ditch would be awesome for scale crawlers. it's about 50 or 60 feet long. my big ol' clod could do some of it, but some parts were too steep or too narrow. went through about 6 packs there, and that's on Lathes. lots of fun. so if anybody wants to join me out there tomorrow then post up. I might go out there sunday. but soon they're gonna be taking all the dirt for their new track so we gotta go while the gettin's good. any takers? |
