Where are popular places to crawl? I've been to the comp at horsetooth but everytime I wanna go there the Rangers give me a hard time, kinda getting sick of paying 6 bucks to crawl every time.

I've never been bothered at horsetooth. Most of the rangers think the crawlers are cool. That's probably the closest spot with varied terrain. Skippys place is cool but it's a bit of a drive up rist canyon. There are plenty of spots to park at horsetooth without having to pay.

Guess I just need to look into it more. I had a good time just crawling in the rocks in the parking lot. Then again it was my first time crawling the SW3 so how could I not have a good time!

Next time I plan on headin up there I'll post up so all us northsiders can get together. Just cruise over the dam road and check out all the spots to crawl right next to the road. I really like the north dam side. I park along the road and walk down the boat ramp and head west. As long as the waters not too high there's lots of good stuff there.

I'm the real Northside.. Chey town baby!! There is a 45 min parking lot for like 3-4 cars along the raod at the horsetooth comp spot that are free parking. I need to head back there soon for some practice. I love that spot!!

We usually go to the boat ramp at the north dam. Haven't had to pay in the winter so far. In the summer I ride the bike (scooter) and just park it by the shitter.

Never had anyone say anything. This summer we'll have to boat too so we can hit some pretty cool remote spots, that is if you're not afraid of throwing your rig onto the shore from a boat!!
