Probably a feeler type thread. Can't be posting that kinda stuff w/o a vendor star. It's in a sticky at the top of chit chat.

It was my thread. And it wasn't a feeler thread, I even made that abundantly clear when I posted it. Apparently, some people are allowed to show off their chassis work and others are not. My thread was no different than the one by Kamikaze, which has gone on for several pages. I gave up trying to figure out forum politics years ago, so there's no point making a stink about it.

I guess I will post the chassis specs in my build thread, so if you're still looking for info and pics, click here.

Kamikaze is a mod, and as such he is also a vendor.

Mods automatically have vendor status, that's why Kamikaze can show off his new chassis for sale.

The difference being...I wasn't offering mine for sale. I even stated that it wasn't a feeler thread, it wasn't for sale, don't ask about buying or testing it either in the thread or via PM because I didn't want to get in trouble with RCC. My point is, it was a "hey, look at this chassis I made" thread...nothing more. I'm not knocking Kamikaze either. Just pointing out that he was showing off his design in his thread, and wasn't saying it was for sale either.

It's all good. I've updated my build thread with info on the chassis so people who are interested, can see it there.

Then you shouldn't have posted this in there:

Yes, I already have some testers in mind who will receive this prototype in the hopes their feedback may lead to big things for this chassis.

I was not trying to gauge interest, in fact, I explicitly stated not to ask. The above is not a violation of the rule on feeler threads as I read it:

Quote:
  • RCC will not allow anyone without a vendor star to create "feeler" threads to gauge interest on the product you are thinking about selling.
I'm done with this, as beating a dead horse on forums isn't a favorite passtime of mine. The thread was deleted, and that's fine. As long as people can still check out my work, that's all I'm concerned about.

It was deleted because you contradicted yourself on the matter. It looks like a cool chassis, and people can check it out in your thread now. Browncoat's Comp Build

Thread locked now, thank you for being very civil on the matter Browncoat. It is much appreciated.
