Default managed attachments?

I've been here long enough I should know better, but how do I reuse a picture I've already attached? or do I have to re-upload it every time?

Go to User CP - Miscellaneous - Attachments (bottom of the list) and find the attachment you want to use, right click on the image name link and select 'Copy Link Location'. Now in another Firefox tab, where you want to reuse the pre-attached image, click on the image icon () and paste in the URL that you copied by pressing the 'Ctrl' key and the 'v' key.

Or

Go into the thread where your picture is attached and using Firefox (the only browser you should be using, if your using I.E. to bad) right click on the attached image and select 'Copy Image Location'. Now in another firefox tab, where you want to reuse the pre-attached image, click on the image icon () and paste in the URL that you copied by pressing the 'Ctrl' key and the 'v' key.
