if i am not mistaken you have to have to have over 30 post or buy a star
for the wanted and forsale section to be available to the user

Yes 30 posts and I believe you must be a member of the site for 30 days also. Got to keep the spammers away.
Or you could just buy a star. It will be the best 20 bucks you spend plus there are tons of give aways all the time, and you have to have a star to enter them.

x-2 buying a star helps support all of our antics. its a small price to pay for the amount of info and tech help you will get along with great deals in the for sale section and an active wanted section. i always find what i am looking for here . so get your star and be a supporting member.

I might consider that, where do I buy it?, keeping spam out is understandble, and it also keeps just the serious guys here

30 posts and regional do not count, does not make sense.

What is anyone suppose to post about then ?

no rig, so i can not buy a rig or parts to build one? Dont know anyone else and only a few regional people.
SO i cannot talk or post anything about my rig.

Cannot make comments about other peoples rigs as it is not allowed (as per listed in the rules) plus nothing much to say other then the normal cool

Cannot post about sports or anything cause Chit dont count either.

EVEN this damn post doesnt count as it is in the Section that dont count either.

SO suggestions ?

belong to probably 20 different boards, and this is the strangest setup ever imagined. You have to post alot just to start but cannot say this nor does it count here and here and here. LOL

30 posts is extreme as well.

Panhanders not welcome. Easiest way to support is to buy and sell direct to the members here, without access the people here LOOSE the money either way. Fat stack of benjys but looks like money cannot be spent here, members loose cause of some wierd board rules ?

with a rig I can post about it and support the rest of the site.

all ears for suggestions.

nice,

robb, have a very full life with many different interests hence many different forums. might try expanding your narrow horizon.

Tow, again panhandling not welcome, no interest in giveaways I work and can pay, especially paying to enter.

i looked through the rest of what a "star" gets you and none of it does or has any interest to me, dont use any of those stupid board features anywhere else anyways.

Good try but looking for Helpful suggestions ?

bought few items off another board today, would have like to spent the money here. Signed up and same day bought something, interesting. Sorry members here you lost money to the board rules.

IMHO, thats the rules, and there is no sense in complaining about them. I don't have an RC rig yet either, but guess what, I'll by buying my star this week, just to support this board, and nothing more.

Then you'll just have to meet the other qualifications. Those are the rules that are followed on this board.

its simple math ..... 5000 members post nothing but whore the for sale area how long does the site last? it be different if RCC was selling advertising slots but their not.

its not about panhandling, its about 'contributing' to the site .... you either lend some tech, ask some tech or pay 20$ that gos to all the license fees and maintenance fees.

you mentioned a narrow horizon but yet you just want to come here and leach off what others put a lot of volunteer work into.

with the attitude like yours id hate to see what happens if you need site help. good luck with any of that.

btw ..... pimpin in a sig? hhhmmm did you even read the site rules?

kind of missing the point. ridiculous rules fine.
Cannot meet the requirements for posting 30 posts as already mentioned above.

robob, 24,000 members as listed on the front page, I would assume at least 5,000 are selling and buying items. site seems to be around still ?
same is true with most forum based sites with a classified seciton, AS well as strictly classified websites.

see definition of panhandling. more then happy to post tech ( BUT i need a rig first ) LMAO

board dynamics i do not know for sure, but i see 3 stars avialable at different price levels, i see vendor adverts, vendor forum section, i see none related vendor adverts, i see a specific site merch available, i see LLC. You mentioned volenteers, the mods ? so the $60 Vb and the site hosting is all that is left ? not sure but i would guess that should be covered.

Vb setup, members posted the info, Not sure what you think i would be leaching ? huh

yep i read the rules, Not related or anything to do with RC, see many post simliar for their different ventures as well.

LMAO and all i want is simple helpful suggestions.

Seems to me he needs a blue star if he's advertising for selling "Even Scale" parts (whatever the hell that is)

You don't see vendor related advertising? How about 95% of the banners running at the top right of the forum?
You really don't know what it takes to run RCC, so don't even start to list out a few items and pretend to know what your talking about.

Here's a suggestion, if you don't like the rules, start your own web site and make your own rules.
