| For Sale subforums.
Why not set up the for sale forum just like the vendors market forum with sub groups. I think its rediculous that some for sale ads are only on the first page for a couple hours, and you cant relist for 15 days. Oh, and the fact that mod's & owners can list stuff in any order/fashion they want is wrong. Those last 7 super sale posts should have been one thread, and he knows it. Just one more reason I wont be re-uping the star this go round. Rant off. Last edited by youngblood; 11-03-2009 at 07:06 AM. |

It would be more work for the mods in the classified section, so I would say no. Jason owns RCC so he can do as he please, every other mod follows the rules of the classified section just like every member.

You are mad the the OWNER of the site posted 7 for sale threads? Next time you fart in your own car, remember that somebody could get mad about it! Mods don't get special allowances in the FS forum, we follow the same rules as you. |

It never ceases to amaze me when people complain about what Jason and Badger do on their own site. |

Hey we all understand times are tight . So if you can't pony up the 20 bucks . Because you need it for your ........ Don't try and cover it up . I'm pretty sure Jason and Badger had rather you take care of your personal needs first . |

"Can" versus "should." Owner or not, it's the principle of the matter and all of you know it: there's those who don't care, those who see the hypocrisy and stay quiet, and those who post threads like these once in a while, despite knowing that the flames are coming. Youngblood has been a member several years, has posted several hundred times, and has paid his right to disagree. I admire him for acting on his principles while obviously being the odd man out, right or wrong. |

It is sound principle, I agree there. I just find it funny that he is perturbed that Jason gets to put up for sale ads how he pleases.

I have posted exactly 11 for sale threads in the last 3 years, I'm sorry I decided to post 7 of them in 1 day. I am trying to kill 2 birds with one stone here. 1. We are being forced to shut down the RCChq so I need to get everything moved out of there, selling some of it will make the move much easier. 2. I am trying to build 2 new superclass rigs to help put the spark back in the class, so that is where 100% of the funds of these sales is going. So look at it this way, it is not me personally selling these items, it is RCC. |

Im not mad, I just think it would be respectful to the other 34,590 of us if you played by your own rules. And the subforums is just an idea I had. I know it might be a little more work for the mods, but I think it would be more efficent in the long run.

We had it setup as subforums at one time, sellers did not like it because their ads didn't get as much exposure.

I wouldn't call it a spin. I don't personally own any RC stuff, it is all Holmes Hobbies owned now.

Jason how dare you run around here like you own this place You will get the proper thrashing at the next comp Look at it this way, when the owner of your company is playing World of Warcraft, whoring around on Myspace, udating his Twitter on his work computer on company time, you going to write him up He is using his company computer for personal reasons, violates the company manual and everything. Sometimes, IT'S GOOD TO BE THE KING |

Don't forget we get to pick through all the good stuff first and the regular members get the scraps. I could understand being upset at that because we are payed for all the work we do here......oh, wait.........
