Default PIC Question?

Why is it that some times I when I copy a pic directly from RCC and then I try to re-post it, it will say the image is to large?

Is this my computer or do I have my setting wrong?

Thanks

Dez

Are the pics you pull from here attachments or pics hosted on other sites?

Are you pulling them from a special person who has mod powers?

I have found that most of the time I have to open the picture in paint, click "save as", make sure .jpeg is selected, and click save.

For some reason paint will compress the file size and make a 250kb picture file into an 87kb file without changing the dimensions or anything else.

You weren't going to use the pic for the giveaway, were you? lol Because I was having the same problem. I saved the pic to my drive, then tryed to attach it to a post but it wouldn't work. It was saying it was too large. And it was one of JIA's pics, too.

I found the best way to copy and repost a pic it to right click. Select Properties and copy the web address that you find there. Then post it with the [IMG Tag.

But then you are linking it and using bandwidth vs. uploading it to RCC.

I think that's how it works.

yep... if you use a pic that the web addy is from TSC and you post it again, you use TSC bandwidth... if you upload it, you then use RCC bandwidth
