so this is what id call.. Calling the shots. each person takes the same gate one at a time paying a dollar to go through the gate. objective. get through as many gates as you can without failing or using reverse. you have 10-15 seconds to complete the gate. at the end the top 3 or who all makes it through the last gate splits the money. just one more way to challenge you buddies at a comp game. if you cant make it through the gate your the next in line to create a reasonable gate. no judging required really. its a gentlemen's style game. lmk what you guys think? |

Del Monte did a bounty line yrs ago when we all ran with So Cal rc.... 1$ a try. We ran this after the comp courses were done...it was fun and a great idea.. But definitely not a replacement for a comp day but a great addition to one. |

As much as I love this site, and the wealth of information it holds..... I'm going to stop paying for it (no more green star from me).... I'm going to reach out to sponsors and let them know the site is being poorly handled and they need to reevaluate their involvement with a website and people who are demonstrating with their actions a clear lack of caring.

But unfortunately there's still a good portion that requires admin powers/access of which I do not have. My time and other moderators time spent would surely be much less and easier if forum was staffed with an active admin. regularly. We currently have two people with admin powers (Jason, badger), but it's a chore and long wait to get help and responses, sometimes even never when needed. I apologize to those that I can't help in some situations, but without admin. power or an admin to respond in a timely fashion, my hands are tied. As most know I do my best, but sometimes good intentions don't amount to much help. Last edited by THX_138; 12-20-2016 at 07:53 AM. | |

Thanks man! I do notice moderators taking care of thing on this site and you guys do a great job, which is fairly thankless, missing admins is a real problem.

if they are willing to pass the torch who would be willing to take it? it would be a "chore" but to some of us it wouldn't be that much of a "chore" its a part of the hobby.

That's pretty much what Harley's admin status upgrade was for. And then? I had General Motors stock. Got paid a little bit quarterly. Never really cared about until it was gone. |

Well I guess if we all stop paying into this forum/ star holding, then maybe the addmin's would miss the funds generated and start helping out. I've noticed a lot of issues with this forum as well. If they want to move on to bigger and better stuff then give someone else the chance to step up or give one of the moderators access it's only fair to those who care about the forum and members. .JM2C... I'm not going to be surprised if I get a kick to the baby maker for posting this, But the truth hurts sometimes... |

An administrator would have to bother to show up, find this thread and actually take the time out of their day to read it in order for anyone to get kicked in the junk. I wouldn't get too excited about that. |

| Re: Fun comp suggestion Yea it was easy to notice with all the maintenance they did and all the posting as well. Oh wait... Unless axial or VP releases a new rig or product none of them bother to stop by. Part of that could have to do with not wanting to deal with the assholes around here. But if that's the case they need to source new/additional people to keep things working around here. Having Thx_138 doing everything while EeePee pretty much locked down to only being able to move threads and none of the other moderators doing anything isn't really working and it sure as hell isn't fair to Thx_138. Am I saying I want to be a moderator? Fawk no. I've done it and been an admin but I enjoy the freedom to be me without having to answer to anyone about it. I'm sure there are some good candidates on the board that would be willing to help out though. |

they are not bad or "careless". they as a whole isn't what I would say. a select few are not as frequent as they should be I could say maybe. a few have limited access. and I really only see peepee head and thx doing the work really. ive seen eric a few times but far between. I think white trash needs to be a mod. so him and pee pee can... do a little more sweeping and well.. id be a mod. im on every day m-f at work and sometimes on weekends on my gf's phone. |
