Lightbulb A Product Review section.

Some of the members here have put together some very good product reviews.

A section specifically for reviews would be a nice way to give the OP credit for creating a useful technical post.

When a moderator feels that a member's review is worthy they could mirror the original post and place it in the review section minus the replies from other members. To keep things clean and technically oriented. Hosting the photos here would probably be a good idea too.

By mirroring the post the original copy will remain in it's proper section and a cleaned up version in the review section.

Wait! I have seen that. lol
That review section is more like a sponsors show case.

What I was getting at is having a review section in the forum that way when you punch in your desired terms into the search functon the review will come up in the results.

Posts like this could be added to the section. First random one I found.

IMHO,we have PLEANTY of forums/sections.

Why make a mirror image and have stuff spread around? That in itself makes for more clutter. If the review is in the proper section,it's where readers can read about it that are interested. If it's in the wrong section, the mods will put it in the right spot. If it's worthy of a front page article,it's put there. The original poster DOES get credit for it,remember, his name is at the top of the first post Keeping things clean and technically oriented.....thats what the mods do anyway. Regular members can't see all the garbage replies that are deleated. Trust me.....there are tons of them

Learn to use the search

The search feature will search across the entire board If the info your searching for is in the testing section....it'll bring it up.
