new to competing with no club in (southwest)idaho

Ok I am new the competing and RC seen all together. but I had a few question. I am not sure if this is the right spot for these but here you go.

1st how often do you club meet.
- for comps
- talk thing over and learn
- GTG
- Series or season how often do you do these races or events
2nd how many member does a state or region have to have to get club status.
I have read the rules for a offical club but still wasn't sure.


My main thing is do you guy all get together weekly, every other week once a month. and how often do most of you get together and is there a required amount of time a month a club must meet to stay active.
I am not looking to run a club but since there is no club in Idaho(southwest) if someone wanted to start one how often would we have to meet.
I know for me it is almost imposible to meet weekly since I have a wife and 3 kid.
I know some of you probaly are alway meeting and do you count GTG different then Comps or events.
